Why is Pixar so succesful?

Pixar animation studio is one of the best computer animation companies in the world. At the beginning Pixar was a computer hardware company and they had poor sales, but in 1991 Pixar did the best gamble in it’s life, Pixar united strenght with Disney, but it was until 1995 that their actions gave fruit with the release of “Toy Story”; after this Pixar released other 10 movies, some being more successful than the first one. But what does Pixar have that makes it’s movies so successful?

The first reason is “teamwork”. When you watch Pixar making off of the movies you can see that the people who work there can work without problems, and have an excellent teamwork . But how is this possible? Pixar different of other animation companies does not change workers but at the same time Pixar searches for new collaborators. This is very helpful when they do movies because the get to know each other an learn how to work with each other, getting the bet results.

The second reason is that they do not lose their way, they follow like a law of first quality before quantity or in this case money. Of course they care about money, because if they do not have it they can no longer make movies. They do not fear mistakes, they prefer re-doing thins when they go wrong instead of continuing a failure project.

The third reason but not last is their original stories. Even if this reason is not always mentioned you can appreciate it on the movies. When you watch Pixar movies moves have like the magic to make you feel like part of the movie, you can feel the emotions and you can empathize with the characters.

As yo can see a company successful is not based on how much money you put on the project it is more than that, it depends more on the people, their believes and their will to work to create ideas that change the animation history. All this things are contained on the pixar workers, and that is why Pixar is one of the most successful animations companies and in my opinion the best one.

“Lola rennt”

"Run Lola Run"  is a movie where you can see that time can change as a result of our actions. Similarly, this movie also show us that time is influenced by our decisions and that these decisions are largely influenced by those things around us, for example, love.

First of all, time is very important because one second can be the line between life and death. Time will never stop and is always there, which is why we have to always think about it and act depending on how much time we are going to spend doing something, even if we do not know how a second a minute or an hour is going to affect our actions. Like in the movie, one minute can be the difference between saving his boyfriend or death.

Secondly our lives move based on our decisions, every decision we make lead us to another possibility and to our future. We will never be able to completely predict the outcome of our decisions, but what it is certain is that our decisions will not only affect us, but will also influence others, and this is where we have to learn how to take them.

Finally we have something that every human in this world has, and that can change entirely the results based on how much of it we have, and that is love.
Love is one of the biggest motivations in that it can break any wall, but if it is not enough it could make the final result a disaster; like in the first two stories, we can see at the final moment of each one that they both doubt of how much they love each other, that is why Lola could not save his boyfriend.

In conclusion we can see that each points support the other points, if we have enough motivation (in this case love) we can have more firm decisions, and we can spend less time. Even if in the three acts she has the same goal that was saving his boyfriend his lack of security lead her to a different future.

Piano no Mori, my favorite movie

Many people think that playing piano is so easy that anyone can do it, but that is a big mistake. There is a huge difference  between only playing notes and actually creating music. That is something we can appreciate in the movie Piano no Mori: The perfect world of Kai by Makoto Isshiki, but what does make this movie so special that makes this movie my favorite one?

This movie is about two boys, one is Amamiya Shuhei, a rich boy whose only objective is to be the best pianist in the world and the other one is Ichinose Kai a poor boy whose only objective is to live an easy live without worries. At first this movie seems so normal that it can be seen as boring, but as the movie continues you can see one important and amazing thing and that is, how an instrument is able to tide together  two boys that are so different not only with respect to their social status but also personality wise.

As the history develops we start to ask ourselves how it is possible that a poor boy(Ichinose Kai) without any knowledge of instruments can play so beautiful, even better than a boy(Amamiya Shuhei) whose life has been devoted to music. In this part Amamiya Shuhei learns, and we also learn that no matter how much we study if we don’t love what we are doing, understand what we are doing and we are trying to communicate and of course if we don’t understan what the music is, we won’t be able to create beautiful music.

Lastly,  I love how this movie manage to tide together the emotions of the characters toward the music, the music, and the backgrounds around the history. There was a part in the movie where Ichinose Kai was playing the Sonata kv310 by Mozart and then he was thinking about the forest where he found the piano and where he started playing it an loving it.

Piano no Mori  as I write before, tell us about music, piano, this wonderful movie teaches us that music is a friend that let us express ourselves, and also let us understand thinks that many times words can’t. It also teaches us that many times we can’t gain things if we don’t put our effort in it.
